THORNTON WINERY
Thornton Winery is located on 20 beautiful acres at the gateway of Southern California's Temecula Valley Wine country. The French-Mediterranean styled winery and adjacent Cafe' Champagne gourmet restaurant were opened in 1988. The facility is complete with storage tanks, underground cave, a gift shop and tasting lounge. Jon McPherson is the Thornton winemaker. His sophistication and expertise has enabled the winery to garner more medals than any other sparkling winery in major competitions throughout the United States. Annual winery production is approximately 30,000 cases. The winery also offers full service banquet facilities which specialize in weddings, receptions, parties, etc., for private groups.

Fabulous Smooth Jazz Festivals! are held on a regular basis as are winemaker dinners and other special events. There are several Jazz shows in the spring and the music continues into late summer and early fall with weekly afternoon Sunday concerts. The Artists play on a huge outdoor patio area directly in front of the main winery building. Every person in the audience has a clear view of the stage and Artists frequently enjoy leaving the stage to play for their fans in a more ‘up close and personal’ way making their way amongst the crowd.

There is plenty of space at the winery to lounge and enjoy the music. Pick a nice tree to sit under on the grassy lawn or enjoy the garden. There is a relaxing pond nearby as well. RODNEY STRONG VINEYARDS
For those of you who love Northern California or yearn to explore that region, you’ll enjoy the majestic Rodney Strong Winery. Rodney Strong is one of Sonoma County's most dramatic wineries and invites visitors to enjoy its hospitality center offering sampling of the medal-winning wines and balcony views of the winery's working centers, plus lush lawns for picnicking with vineyards in the background.
